    The Communications (Dispatch) Department serves as the nerve center of public safety operations, providing the vital link between the community and emergency services. Dispatchers are responsible for receiving, prioritizing, and managing emergency and non-emergency calls, ensuring that the right resources are sent to the right place at the right time. They coordinate police, fire, EMS, and other departmental units with professionalism, accuracy, and calm decision-making, even in high-pressure situations.
